Northern Invasion II

So I am back, Rizal. 

Last Saturday i went to Baguio for our event. That was one super tiring event. The night was really fun, except that you know, organizer problems, you can’t really watch the entire event because we have to take charge of everything. But still, we enjoyed the company of both Baguio and Manila bands. The entire night was full of good music and of course, cold alcohol drinks.

These photos are one-month late. I am really sorry, but still, i uploaded it. These were the photos our group took when we stayed at Lamut, Ifugao for the production of BFLC's sponsorship video. I already told you what happened during our stay there so yeah, just check out the photos.

i want peace concert

Again, and again, this is a late upload. So last September 28 we celebrated our monthsary by watching the I Want Peace Concert at Session Road. We were at the very front of the stage so we really enjoyed the music from the bands who performed. And the concert was of free admission so double the fun. The bands who played were Powerpuff Corn, Ebe Dancel, Sandwich, and other Baguio bands.

Again, this is a late upload. So last September 29 my band played at Naked Solutions Clothing Line Baguio Launch. The event was fun because some of our orgmates also went to the event.  The usual set of bands played for that night. Anyway, Naked Solutions is a clothing co-owned by our drummer Kevin Estrada. They have good designs so you might want to check their page for more details. 

I forgot the name of this band but they really perform well.

plans for today

Hello happy lunch earthlings! I'm off to SM Taytay to accompany my mother. Actually i have my own plans of going to my HS Alma Mater but my mother insisted that i should go with her, so yeah. Later i will post some photos from Ifugao and some events i attended. Good day!

I am always not conscious about what i am wearing or how do i look like. But when i got in to blogging, i appreciate the sense of dressing up and looking more presentable than the usual look i have.  Since we do not have classes, i do not have enough reasons to dress up. But yesterday i went to Ortigas so i assumed that i need to wear a good clothes. I forgot to take an outfit post so here's some shots i got.

Since i do not have anything to do, i take random shots whenever i feel that i need to. Yesterday, before i went out with my friends, i took some shots while i was waiting on our terrace. The weather was so nice and the sun was really up, in a good way. Here's what i got.

 Meet Reginald and Brando. I am sorry for the lack of decency of these photos. They move so fast and my cam's shutter speed is annoying. So yeah, they're still cute, right? I promised to myself that i will buy a bigger house for them. Hopefully, i can get a good part-time job next semester.

  For those who do not know, i made a scrapbook for our production team as a make up requirement for not watching Phantom of the Opera. These are the last photos i took before i submitted the finished product to my teacher. And since i am not a hey-lets-make-a-scrapbook-girl, it was hard for me to finish this one. Good thing i have yummy watta tops for my stomach.

We finally had a chance to go out. Yesterday we went to Ortigas to watch Sinister. We end up disappointed because of the movie, but still, we enjoyed laughing while the people around us are screaming for the-not-so-scary-scenes-of-the-movie. I guess for that our money was worth it.

I finally accessed my subjects and grades and found this. I think i should be happy that i got all my subjects because that means i am not required to go to our scheduled enrollment, but i am still disappointed with my grades. O well. At least i passed.

Simplicity Day

This post was supposed to be uploaded a month ago. But because i am busy completing my requirements for the past few weeks, i forgot that i have overdue photos that i need to post. Sorry! And because of that, now i don't know what to put in these photos for its description. So i guess i will just stick to its concept. Generally, this is Charmaine Cappuccino with her simple attire.

So today was fun (i guess). Honestly i do not have many stories to tell you guys because my semester break just started today. I arrived here in Rizal at 8 in the morning. First thing I did? Went to the kitchen, grabbed the first food I saw and the rest is history. Lol Then after that, I browsed my laptop to check some files then fell asleep. And you know what? I spent the rest of my day sleeping. I wasn’t supposed to go outside but my good friend Bryan went to our house and convinced me to go out. Actually the photos are not really relevant to what I am telling but I do not have visual support to my words so that’s it! Enjoy your sem break guys!

my almost sembreak night

­Since I only have three requirements for this semester I am taking this night for a break. I realized that my room is a total mess so I decided to clean it tonight. Here’s what I am doing right now. And oh, I am just taking a break that’s why this happened. I really don’t know how to update this blog on a more creative manner, so yeah, this is just for now. I have tons of photos to upload next week. Yey!

 

Yesterday, i was really craving for some donuts so for today, i bought some yummy choco donuts for my snack.

a very fulfilling trip

Since I planned to upload the photos I took in Ifugao per category (yes category lol), I will first write my entire experience in Ifugao; from the very first night we left Baguio to the night we got stranded in Ifugao. 

We left Baguio last September 22.We had a night trip to avoid the expected traffic. But then again, there was still traffic in Nueva Vizcaya (I am not really sure it is in NV because I am seriously falling asleep every 5 minutes). But still, I guess we had a very good trip going to Ifugao. I think we arrived there 5 in the morning. Again, Hannah’s mother cooked our breakfast. Having a good breakfast in a good place is one of the best moments I will treasure.  For our first day, we planned to rest first and enjoy the beauty of the place. Then in the afternoon, we went to the house of our subject to interview their parents. We didn’t expect the 45-minute tricycle drive from town to the house of the children. But still, the travel I time was worth it because of the scenery we found on our way there. For our interview, I guess we were successful in getting all the information we need to have. Personally, I really felt that those people need some help from those who are capable of giving.  Honestly, I am financially stable I will try to help them. By the end of the day we completed all our tasks and had a great dinner with Hannah’s family. 

The second day was the most productive day we had. We completed the shots we need for our sponsorship video then we had a chance to play and talk with the students of the school where we were conducting our research. I really had fun hanging out with those cute little kids. You can really see in their faces that they are enjoying their stay in the school.

The only thing I don’t like during our stay in Ifugao was the time I got sick. I was really feeling horrible on our last night. And unfortunately, when were about to go back to Baguio we found out that there was no bus going back to Baguio after 8 in the evening. So we road on a bus going to Manila then we went down to Nueva Ecija and waited for a bus going to Baguio. We were still lucky that time because we did not wait for a long time. Thank God. We arrived in Baguio safely. 

All in all, our trip was very fulfilling. It was nice thinking that we are making a way for those people who are really in need so that others can see and hopefully help them

Aztec Day

Another unplanned shoot with my friend Bianca Sy. She is known for her good fashion taste and her talent. Everyday is her dress up day so she did not need to put any effort for this shoot. This was done during our rehearsals for the play we had.
